On Memorial Day, 2000 (May 29) I was traveling back to Mass. after spending the weekend at my Mom’s (the usual Memorial Day scene — burnt ground up dead cow, etc.) and I took some pictures at the Springfield, MA station after the arival (and departure) of the Late For Sure, er. Lake Shore Limited. Here are the pictures.

Here are the three RoadRailers the LSL dropped off. In the center distance (just to the right of the center platform shelter) is a switcher waiting for CSX dispatcher to throw the switch and give the OK to head east onto the mainline.
